ELIGIBILITY &

GENERAL TERMS

BREEZE is open for the participation of any galleries from the primary sector representing Brazilian artists. Auction houses, galleries from the secondary market and individuals can participate, as long as they apply in association with a primary-market gallery.

Each application must present a proposal for a group show or solo exhibition, with no restrictions on themes and formats – we welcome paintings, sculptures, mixed media, performances, installations, videos, photography etc. – as long as the applicants are able to deliver as specified in their submission.

The winning proposal, chosen by our select-committee of guest curators and cultural actors, will materialise as an exhibition to be held throughout October 2023 at Sala Brasil (the Embassy of Brazil's main cultural space in London), without any charge for the use of the gallery and facilities, alongside US$ 4,000 (four thousand dollars) in support of production and management.

Please read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS (AGREEMENT) document for important information. Also, to help you with your proposal, an informative sheet regarding Sala Brasil (featuring dimensions, floor plans, illustrative pictures etc.) is available HERE.

HOW TO APPLY

A

Firstly, carefully read the terms and conditions (Agreement) and make sure you are in agreement with them. The next step is to put together your exhibition proposal, containing:

Optional: 3D representation, or electronic mockups, of the project

Optional: a set of links (URLs) with relevant additional content, such as academic and press articles, videos, online portfolios etc.
